Review: Great for anytime you want real dairy flavor but don’t have milk - This powder taste like real cream and I am picky! I took this with me to blend into coffee during a trip to Italy. We mostly made coffee in our hotel/apartments that we stayed at and it was great to have real cream for our coffee. So much more convenient than having to find a market to buy milk. The powder also doesn’t go bad, even when left in a black car many days in hot weather. This cream powder tastes so much better than the Coffee mate powder. It is better liquified and then added to coffee than putting it in directly as it takes a little stirring to blend it and you don’t want to spill your coffee. It also worked great for making my son’s Mac and cheese without having milk at hand. My son is a picky eater and he liked it as much as when I made it with real milk. I probably won’t buy milk again but instead will just use this wonderful product.

It does have a slight barely noticeable flavor but I have found that if I mix 1 tablespoon of dry instant non fat milk it really makes it taste like half and half. I am going to attempt to whip some into whipping cream. I usually make stabilized whipped cream for cream puffs etc. For that I use a pint of heavy whipping cream with 1tablespoon dry milk. So if I can get good results I will update. I love Hoosier Farm products but I have to admit that I tossed the heavy cream that I had purchased (and their powdered sour cream) because of the taste after tasting this product. ***Update - I was not able to whip this product into a whipped cream consistency. I chilled the product over night and tried whipping the cream after stirring it as it had separated. No luck. I tried again by just attempting to whip the thickened cream that rose to the top. Again no luck. I tried adding a tablespoon of powdered milk to another batch of cream and the result was the same no whipped cream. Maybe using arrow root or agar as thickners might help but my numerous attempts did not give the desired results. We did use the mixtures in our coffee so we didn't waste. Disappointed we were so hopeful. If someone does succeed leave a post.

A: Yes it can. As made per the instructions, it is extremely thick. it will whip but i would wait until it has chilled a bit or it seems gritty.

**Q: What is the butter fat content?**
A: Just like heavy cream

**Q: What is the shelf life of this product?**
A: I’m not sure the bag I have now was purchased in Feb and expires in Nov but it’s almost gone lol. It lasts a good while. I keep in my locker at work.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Delicious! I just wish it would whip up.

I Use this in more stuff than I thought I would. Reconstitute to make scones and other baked goods that use heavy cream. Or make a small cup to dip pastries in. Likely an amazing secret ingredient to alfredo or bechamel sauces. Other than the well advertised fact that it does not whip, if you reconstitute and put in fridge for a little while you wouldn't ever even know it had been dried! Sweet and creamy, exactly the flavor you are expecting! Mixed with dry milk to add to coffee (instead of artificial creamer) to make a superb cafe aulait, as well as a very luxurious addition to homemade hot chocolate mix. It's a verrrry fine powder. I store mine in the freezer and scoop as needed.
