Stork Craft Marco Island Captain's Bed with Trundle and Drawers - Twin (White)

We got this ahead of schedule! Nice bed, packaged in 4 separate boxes that all came at once. Finish is great, sturdy good quality bed. My husband and teenage son had this put together in about 75 minutes. Instructions were given with pictures on each step - good visuals and and great labeling of parts and hardware all separated out in separate packaging and labeled with steps appropriately We used her old standard 7 inch mattress for the pull out twin. Which allowed for perfect fit. I'll be able to put sheets and thin blanket on extra bed and still be able to tuck it in with enough clearance. We purchased a new gel-cooling memory foam 8 inch mattress for the top- which worked great! The whole bottom bed unit is on a separate roll out - so you can roll it out completely if needed. The three drawers under the bed, have nice smooth rolling drawers that won't get "off track". Very happy with this purchase.

This is a great bed overall - It looks really nice - great for a boy's room or girl's room; can't go wrong with white furniture. There are some build quality issues as noted by most other buyers, but they are not big issues. The knobs are very cheap plastic, and the railing for the drawers has a bit of build integrity issues - rails are not all perfectly sized, so some of the drawers open/close smoothly and others do not - you may have to keep switching the rails to find a compatible pair. There are 3 drawers, 2 are perfect, one is rather off-placed, making it sound and feel like the rails will eventually bend on one side..

We ordered this bed in white after seeing it "in person" at our friend's house, they had one in brown. I was a little hesitant ordering furniture online, but after a few visits to various furniture store, I realized I could pay double for the same type of bed. So we took a chance and I am so glad we did. My 3.5 daughter absolutely loves her "big girl" bed and the fact that she can invite friend over (eventually) for a sleepover. Here is what I like: - The bed was shipped promptly and arrived in just a few days (thanks Amazon). I was concerned reading some reviews that some parts may arrive damaged, but perhaps because it was shipped from California and we live in CA, there were fewer chances for it to get damaged. All pieces arrived in good condition. - This bed looks really nice, great value for the price. I was very hesitant of sinking $1000+ on a bed for a 3.5 YO and decided to instead get a nicer mattress. - I like how compact it is and yet we have an option of putting my daughter and her soon to arrive sibling in one room eventually, when we have guests or for sleepovers. I would like to mention that because this bed has a trundle, it is pretty tall. I bought my daughter a step stool and also a memory foam bumper that goes under the fitted sheet so she doesn't roll off of it. It's a great set-up and she loves climbing up into her bed. Now here is why I'm only giving it 4 stars: - My husband spent good 4-5 hours to put the bed together. One major design flaw - the wood planks that the mattress rests on (both the top level and the trundle) do not have wholes for screws on each plank nor does the base of the bed. There are 10+ planks in each and only 3 of them have wholes to put the screws in. And the rest - bring your power tools - will have to be drilled in. And you don't want to rely on only 3 planks being secure, this is the part that holds that heavy mattress. - Trundle bed wheels are super small. We have carpet in my daughters room and it's very hard to move the trundle in and out. Our friends have it on hardwood and it's much easier to roll. - Drawers are kind of flimsy and not that deep. But I like having some storage for bed sheets, so I'm ok with that. Overall - we are happy with our purchase and do recommend this bed.

This is a nice and sturdy bed. I was super impressed. Set up was pretty simple and instructions were easy to follow. There were a total of 4 boxes. Make sure to get a full mattress that is 54" or you will see the slates,. I had to return the first mattress after I noticed this. I will probably re-enforce the wooden slates with hardwood for some additional support as my child gets older. I bought this bed from Amazon got an excellent deal!!

These beds are fantastic. I bought 3 total, for my house and with their mom. The construction is good, the instructions make them easy to put together (after the first, I built the second and third without referring to the instructions again), and my kids love them. You will need tools to build, and an electric drill is a must, as you drill about 32 screws into the slats for the bed and trundle. Also, when the trundle is pulled out, underneath the bed makes for a great hidden fort (or so my daughter has found). Definitely would recommend as a good quality kids bed.

We.love how it looks and the trundle. But unfortunately its way to cheap made. We got the boxes and missing screws and wood support, the foot rest was small section broke nothing huge; we did a deal % back and keep it. We son is 6 he didnt even jump on the bed and the wood what help yo support the middle part of the matress it fall off from the nothing (we noticed it disnt fit right aince the beginning). We fixed it and less then a month it fall off again, broke the wood piece. Then the foot rest it got a hole on it, the woods that suposse to hold the matress were bending, it brooke a couple. I called amazon to see what i could do and they gave us refund.. now i dont have bed bc it was so hard to try to fix it again, we ended up putting it on the curve.. i wish i could lnow some skill to qork qith wood to make it work.. Now we are hunting for a bed again...

I bought this bed for my grandkids, who are 8 and 10 years old. They love to spend the night at my house on weekends.. This bed is perfect! It wasn't too hard to put together. It looks great. The only thing you have to be aware of is it is high. Probably too high for tottlers due to the fact that there is a trundle bed and some drawers underneath. For my rambunctious boys, it is perfect!

I never submit reviews. However reviews helped me make a better decision. The product was easy to build however needs 2 people. You must... read instructions and be aware the instructions walk you thru the steps for the trundle and storage box; when u are going to build the 2nd part of the bed there arent any instructions however you repeat the same steps on the screws. So must read instructions and use logic. The bags with screws etc all come with an additional piece in each bag in case you lose one. The bed is very sturdy and like someone else reviewed if built correctly. A part of building that made us pause an instructions couldve explained and didnt especially for those like me than dont usually build furniture. When placing the (C) and (H) the panels that hold the mattress. Those panels come all with prepped holes. However the bed only has 8 holes. This is on Purpose. The holes that are made are for the bigger screws which the instructions tell u what bag to grab however the other holes you use the smaller screws and drill it down. The smaller screws are small and meant to be drilled into the wood. So u have 8 big screws and the other small ones are for tge other panels. I will give it 4 stars b/c my bed came scraped and one of the side boards had a significant scrape. Overall we are satisfied and happy with product will reach out to customer service regarding the scraped panels.

We out to the together in just over an hour. It's attractive and sturdy and it functions well.

Easy to setup. Its TALL. I ended up buying a stool for the bedside so my 4 yr old could get in and out of the bed. The finish and look is excellent. Although I wish they would have either better braced the frame or used a harder wood so it could hold more weight. If I lay down to settle my son to bed I can hear the frame creak. The trundle has an even lower weight capacity. But for kids and teens it is fine. Overall I'm pleased with the bed.

I absolutely love these beds I got the white for my daughter and grey for my son. I love that the trundle can be pushed away my toddlers are little daredevils so I did not want bunk beds. But I wanted to have the second for when my niece and nephew sleeps over. They love is so much they have asked me to move in with me. Very Sturdy my nephew is 14 and is quite comfortable. Would definitely buy again for my niece
