I'm impressed at the quality of the images on the pages. This is the best adult coloring book with animals I have seen. All of the animals are very detailed and gives you lots of options to color them how you wish. There are 50 pages of different animals on ones side. The pages are a little on the thin side I wish they were made out of heavier paper like card stock and they were perforated. I like to frame my pictures after they are complete. The book itself measures 8"x10" your finished page makes a nice portrait to frame & hang.The animals included in this book are air, land & sea animals. The pictures are nicely centered and flawlessly printed on each page. The markers & gel pens I have used in this coloring book have not bled through the pages. Some may have issues of ink bleeding through. I feel that has to with the type and quality of gel pens and markers your are using. I am disclosing this in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR, Part 255: Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising.*** ### ⭐⭐ Blurry, pixelated images totally ruin even the good designs. *by F***L on Reviewed in the United States on January 14, 2016* While there are a few quality designs in this book, the substandard printing quality and cheap paper make this a book to avoid.I've only recently discovered this whole world of Adult Coloring Books, but from what I've seen so far, there is a standard level of quality that one should be able to expect in such a product:In my opinion, all lines in a coloring design should be thin, clean, and closed off; any line that would otherwise be "thick" should be an unfilled area in and of itself that the artist could then color however they'd like. Some of the designs here have these thick, black lines that make me think that some of them were ripped out of a collection of 1990's tattoo flash artwork, rather than something that was designed for the actual purpose of creative coloring.Artistic quality aside, the image quality in this book is poor all the way through. Even the higher "quality" designs were published from lower resolution raster images, where it doesn't take much of an inspection to see the pixelation and printing artifacts all over the place. Some lines are blurry. Others look like they were printed via dot matrix, circa 1985. Worst of all, a couple of pages gang up these different feather designs, where one or two higher quality images that would have been fun to color have been scaled down to a point that the lines are blurry, pixelated, and not even distinguishable for the purposes of coloring. Whether these issues are the result of poor source images, a total lack of skill in whomever compiled/edited the book, bad/cheap printing practices, or (most likely) a combination of each of these things, the issues are pervasive enough that they ruin the book altogether.Other less critical issues pertain to the paper quality and overall construction of the book. Here we're clearly dealing with the cheapest run of the mill copy paper a printer might use. Some people might not take issue with this, but coming from other books it definitely threw me off. Also, the pages don't feature any perforation along the binding edge, the way you might find them in most other Adult Coloring Books. So, if you like to work on designs anywhere outside of the book itself, you'll have to devise your own way to get the page out with a clean edge.As stated before and despite the flaws mentioned above, there are two or three designs in this book that push it from a one star to a two star for me. Having said that, they are definitely not good enough so that I could recommend this to someone else looking for animal patterns to pass the time with.Save yourself the disappointment and check out a different title instead. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ There's really animals out the wazoo in this book! *by Z***R on Reviewed in the United States on June 22, 2016* One fantastic book! Pages are thick and sturdy, size is great and selection of picture choices is plentiful. I love the designs of the pictures and all of the different animals. From the moment I opened the book there are so many great choices to color it's hard to decide which one to start with or work on. Depending on your coloring abilities each picture has enough details it can take several hours from start to finish. I have several coloring books and this is easily one of my top favorites and always makes a travel bag or is a go to one. I love the quality of the paper and the way my colored pencils look when coloring on it. The price of this book is fantastic compared to others, especially considering how many designs you have to pick from. They are printed on one side so if you wanted to take one out you could without another picture on the back. I use colored pencils so I can't speak about bleeding or other issues.
