I chose this top because I wanted something slightly flowy and ventilated for running in the mornings. I opted for a medium based on other reviews, for the expected half a size loss from washing and to avoid a more clingy fit; however, my normal size would be XS-S. My expectations were far exceeded with this top! It is incredibly silky soft, a dream to run in since it doesn't shift/ride up, and the back obviously allows for optimal air flow as do the holes at the sides for the arms. I have worn it twice now on two different runs and compared to wearing lululemon swiftly tops, I would hands down choose this shirt every time over lulu. The swiftlies always ride up while running and it is incredibly distracting. This Mippo top eradicates that completely. I am able to focus on my breathing and my pace rather than tugging at my shirt. The material seems to wick sweat quite well, at least during pre-dawn jogs in about 70-75 degree weather. Even after I stop running and I'm walking for a bit, it is still keeping me cool. I plan to order many many more of these in other colors because I think these shirts will also wear well with jeans, especially with the sexy open back design! I’m 5’2” and 155 lbs and the XL fit a smidge loose on me. I think an additional 20-30 lbs (to factor for height difference) would make the shirt way too small.
