There are many compartments with various sizes, but it doesn't look bulky when you wear it. It is lightweight when empty. The largest compartment is divided into two and ample space for two to four mobile phones. There is a compartment for storing bank cards (2 card sections) and your little purse/wallet. The front compartment is attached by a zip and Velcro and can be removed. The strap is a wide and comfortable fit and long enough for the chubbiest of us. For thinner people, the excess straps can be tucked neatly into the little band on each strap. The fastener is sturdy and easy to open and close, but won't open accidentally. I got this for going on holiday, but I imagine it has plenty of other uses.
