Once back to the dock, found the old one actually melting and stuck closed. Replaced both engine Idle Air Control valves with these. Alarm went away and engines idle beautifully at 700 rpm. These IAC valves can fail quickly and leave you stranded. It takes about 2 minutes to change one with and allen wrench. One had the idle too high, 850 instead of 650, and the other one had the idle rev up and down from 250rpm to 500 rpm.
