It supports 33, 45, and 78 RPM records, features a high-precision DC servo motor, and includes Bluetooth aptX Adaptive for premium wireless audio. With a built-in switchable phono preamp, USB output for vinyl-to-digital conversion, and a professional-grade AT-VM95E cartridge, it delivers versatile connectivity and audiophile sound quality in a sleek black aluminum chassis.

## Description

This fully manual turntable is modeled after the AT-LP120XUSB, but adds the convenience of Bluetooth wireless connectivity to the existing analog and USB outputs. Featuring a specially designed DC servo direct-drive motor and adjustable dynamic anti-skate control, the AT-LP120XBT-USB plays 33-1/3, 45, and 78 RPM records and outputs the high-fidelity audio to the device of your choice. Use the included RCA output cable along with the built-in selectable phono preamp to connect to your home stereo or powered speakers. Use the USB cable to connect to your computer (and then download the free Mac- and PC-compatible Audacity recording software, or software of your choice, to start converting your records to digital audio files). Or use the Bluetooth wireless technology to pair the turntable with wireless speakers, headphones or other devices, including those that support the high-quality Qualcomm aptX audio codec. The turntable also features an S-shaped tonearm with adjustable tracking force and an AT-HS6 universal ½"-mount headshell with an AT-VM95E Dual Magnet phono cartridge. Audio-Technica has been a leader in phono cartridge design for more than 50 years, and that expertise shows in the versatile, high-performance AT-VM95E cartridge, which comes with a 0.3 x 0.7 mil elliptical stylus, but is also compatible with any VM95 Series replacement stylus, offering a wide choice of options for every budget and application. Additional professional features include a die-cast aluminum platter with felt mat; a start/stop button; selectable high-accuracy quartz-controlled pitch lock and pitch change slider control with +/-10% adjustment range; a stroboscopic platter with speed indicator; a removable plug-type stylus target light; external power supply; and a removable hinged dust cover.

Review: Nice Turntable - What a nice experience. I just got it today, and after experiencing a few Klinger I had that were once good but no longer useable,I have this. The thing was easier to assemble than I expected. The cartridge included is a nice one. You don't have to worry about upgrading right away at all. The ton arm was decent. I got the weight at between 2 and 2.5 grams and the anti skate set at 2 or 2.5 The platter is durable. My old Esoteric Sound was nearly the same machine. The blue tooth worked well except a set of speakers that may be out of range. I tried phono in and groundeired, but it is better using line in. Not only tgat, but bluetooth only works when set to line in. No problem. Dust cover is nice looking and durable. The light included is nice. I have an extra from my now defuncted dj turntable. The first lp I tested it with was a dusty 1960s a and m label pressing. It passed.I learned I had not set the weight correctly by testing that one.It thumped. Once set very low noise on phono setting, and none on line in. 45 rpm tested great. Beach Boys on a Capitol mono swirl sounded awesome. It was like hearing it the first time. I tested a 78 that was a 1951 flexi promo on RCA by the 4 Tunes. It passed. Oy minus is the lack of a 78 headshell with cartridge. I have one. Good deal and good sound.
Review: ****Just What I Needed**** - First thing worth mentioning is I've had this one vinyl Salvia Plath "The Bardo Story" that always skipped on my favorite track "House of Leaves" since the day I bought it - like a brutal serious of skips that just butchers the experience. I got it back in 2013 brand new and it always had this issue. Over the past 10 years I have tried to play it on various turntables and it always skipped no matter the grade of the turntable. I even recently tried it on my friend's Audio-Technica AT-LP60X-BK - didn't work out. Well, not with this turntable. There was a little surface noise where it usually goes "all to hell" but otherwise no skipping and it was the first time I got to hear the song fully. After this particular LP played, I knew I was golden with the rest of my 300+ collection since this one was the most problematic one I have. The other perk I noticed is the body of the turntable is pretty solid and I was surprised when my cat jumped up and stepped on the cover lid and the tonearm didn't jump on the vinyl....there was no painful skip... still "GET DOWN!" But that's pretty impressive. I love the sturdy quality and weight of this turntable. It doesn't feel light and cheap. This turntable is also aesthetically very nice - it looks good in my living room. Another big perk is the little attachable light that shines on the needle so you can see what you're doing in the dark when placing the needle. I like to have my friends over for projector and music night and it was awesome having the little light and not needing to turn on the living room lights to properly place and drop the needle. Didn't even really think this was something I needed, but it really does help if you like low light settings for your listening sessions. More turntables should have this feature. The Bluetooth connectivity is a nice touch too. I love being able to connect my Bose NC700 headphones at night in order to not bother anyone if I want to play my vinyl. I still line in my main speakers, but it's a nice feature to increase listening flexibility. I can connect my JBL speaker and take it to the kitchen when I want to cook and play a vinyl. Overall this is an excellent turntable for the quality without having to pay 1-2k. I've been committed to collecting vinyl for 12 years and it was time to get something better. If you're serious about collecting and value your collection, this is a good product to consider if you're looking to upgrade and improve your listening experience. I probably had this turntable in my cart for 2 years debating if it was necessary and I can now say I should have bought this thing sooner when it caught my eye. A+++

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can i use this as a variable speed treadmill for my chinchilla?**
A: Kind of a silly question- a squirrel cage or continuous-belt geometry would keep the Chinchillas on-task; whereas with this setup you would either need to engage in extensive training or a leash or perimeter fence to keep then from veering off in a straight line and exiting the exercise wheel altogether.

**Q: Does the tonearm lift off the record after playing the last track?**
A: No and it is unfortunate bcuz if you happen to fall asleep or get distracted then there goes your stylus into the record label. This non feature demands your 100% attention which is not a 100% option. The upside of having this feature far outweighs any downside it MIGHT have.

**Q: Why can't I hear much sound coming from this? What else do I need to buy with this to hear it?**
A: A decent pre-amp included with the AMPLIFIER driving nice size speakers. (Mine are 4 foot tall with woofer, tweeters and mid-range). If your system lacks a pre-amp that can cause small sound.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hits the sweat spot of quality/price. Comes with absolutely outstanding customer support!
*by M***D on February 4, 2021*

This is the turntable to get. I've spent years with other turntables converting my vinyl into digital with results that I didn't think were as good as they could've been. This turntable isn't that much more expensive, but it's worth every penny is terms of sound quality. You get 3 outputs: Analog (line-out or Phono RCA) USB, Bluetooth. All work well. For USB, the audio is up to 48khz 16-bit. On a Mac, that's what it is by default. So either set your recording to that level, or change the level by going to the macOS Audio Midi Setup app in Utilities . You can use the free Audacity software, or any other audio software to make your recordings (I happen to use Sound Studio). Yes it works well with Intel or M1 Macs. As others have mentioned, the turntable looks nice (and more expensive than it is), but it does have some less expensive components. I'm all for that though. I want good quality recordings of my vinyl as the top priority, durability and functionality as a secondary considerations, and then a distant last would I care about things like plastic/wood/etc..., especially if it still looked really nice. It does have a lot of features that you don't see in turntables at this price or less, but they're all functional and relate to quality output. For example, some turntables don't have line-out. Some don't have speed indicators or quartz timing. Some don't have high precision tone arm weight adjustment or anti-skate adjustment. This has all of that. More little things that I really like... the feet are adjustable so you can perfectly balance it on a surface that might not be 100% balanced. They also not only shock absorb, but suction if placed on a smooth surface. I have mine on a glass desk, and it's like as if it's permanently attached (unless I twist the feet). There's also a nice needle light so you can drop it precisely on tracks, and of course it's a true turntable, meaning that you can stop the motor and turn the platter by hand to cue or scratch. CUSTOMER SUPPORT IS AWESOME!!! I had some technical questions regarding both macOS and Windows. Email responses were swift, detailed, and customized, making sure I fully understood the answers to my questions. Customer support gets an A+. Thanks Brent!
