I ordered them not to workout in but to wear with my tankini top. They are made of nylon and spandex which IMO is better than polyester/spandex. Too, they fit well (not too tight/restrictive) and stay in place. I am 5'5" proportionally built and wear size 8-12 in bottoms. The leg openings are snug but do not dig into my thighs.
