The grip wore off too quickly. Found these Viper Astro darts and I really like the grippiness of the barrels. The metal machining also seems to be of good quality. No more black rubber to wear off! I have used these darts for over a year and they are still going strong. I do not throw regularly outside of winter league. If you throw regularly year-round, that could wear them down quicker. I also changed the shaft to something more durable, so I cannot speak to how long that lasts.
