The Woman's Wakeup: How to Shake Up Your Looks, Life, and Love After 50

I am enjoying the content, however, it is frustrating to read a book (even with reading glasses) with a small, thin font that does not have significant contrast with the page color.The pages are glossy so trying to read under a bright light, to compensate for the small font, creates glare that diminishes readability.Someone over 50 should have proofed the print choices!

I'm always looking and finding books for women over the age of 50.....as I want to stay on course, look up-to-date and continue to age gracefully! I enjoyed this book. And loved how the author incorporated input from so many of her friends. Realistic challenges, goals, dreams....how nice to have their in-put on so many subjects that will present themselves to us as we age. I continue to go back and read sections in the book again and again. I have always liked Lois Joy Johnson's books...and I'm happy to say this one is another good one to add to the collection!

This book is fabulous! Like Lois' WARDROBE WAKEUP, it's full of wit, wisdom and kick ass advice. Charming and positive, it is SO much fun to read. The gorgeous women in this book are the real inspiration and they're all over 50! I've thoroughly marked and highlighted my copy and refer to it whenever I need a little style boost. Fantastic and fun!

This book was a compilation of little tidbits of very basic information causing it to read more like paragraphs grabbed from magazine articles. And seriously, not all mature women travel in circles of publishers, entrepreneurs, models and such. I've enjoyed her previous books, however, after this disappointment, I will be reluctant to purchase any more of her books.

I have recently turned 50, and this book really hit home. With the help of this book, I can age BEAUTIFULLY!

Fun read and encouraging to anyone who wants to embrace their life at any age

Not written for the average woman...all of the women featured are models, CEOs, publishers, etc. Disappointing and not realistic
