The required fin length was 10mm, so it was a case of choosing either the 8mm or 12mm fin as a replacement. I opted for the 12mm fin to fit the 6mm glass panel. The strips require a certain amount of pressure to engage them, but once done are an excellent tight fit. Cutting was easy with a junior hack saw followed by a fine tooth file and Stanley knife for the softer fins. The 12mm fin is not ideal as the shower door "scrapes" against the fixed glass part when fully opened, but at least it doesn't slide open on its own now! I couldn't find an alternative product on the market that was of this quality, which from a supply and demand point of view explains the high cost. I would have expected these to sell for around £25 a pair, not £35.
