Good board for a 9 year old beginner...
My 9 year old niece loved this Christmas Gift. And I loved the price. Better quality than most snowboards that are out there and marketed for beginners. I bought goggles and a helmet for her too from Amazon and I would suggest those be purchased along with the board. Safety first, right? Right.Only 4 stars because I don't know (yet) if the bindings will hold up. But - so far so good.

A great beginner Snowboard
Made of hard plastic and easy to step into bindings. My son is just trying to snowboard, so this is a great beginner board for him to learn on and work on his balance.

Find one with better bindings...
The board is nice, but it does not work properly. The design of the bindings cause parts to stick out of the bottom of the board and drag in the snow. Thus, the board goes slowly and does not trail properly. My 6 year old son is tired of it. The company claims its the adjustment of the bindings, but we've adjusted them every way possible to properly fit and it still is an issue. It's a poorly designed board, plain and simple. Now, I just need to see if the company will make it right or not.

GLX Sports 95cm Acrobat FX 95
Not worth the price. Plastic foot holders detach at the bottom and grind against the ground when trying to move. You would need to super glue those straps to the bottom of the board just to keep them from slipping out every 10 minutes.

Not for snowboarders.
Don't waste your money for any young kid that wants to really learn how to snowboard. It would not fit with snow boots and can't Use tennis shoes in snow! We are keeping it to put on the wall in his room.
