Three Seconds On and One Secxond Off
This is a veyr solid and smooth operating quick secure and quick release helmet buckle that is well worth the money. Can take some getting accustomed to when using heavy gloves though I encountered little in the way of using hem with regular summer riding gloves. Basically it boils down to learning just where to squeeze the two releases ro remove and how to "Find" the female slot on one strap with the mating male end when putting the helmet on. You will quickly develop a muscle memory for both donning and removal operations without much thought. You have to use both hands to don the helmet...one hand holds the buckle half on one strap while the other pilots the the latching buckle one the other strap. It's about a three second operation from when you pick up the helmet until it is secure on your heard. Removal is a one-handed operation. Just squeeze the latch on the male end of the buckle,, the strap unlatches and lift the helmet off. About a 1-32 second operation..The buckle is all metal and truly feels much more confidence inspiring than th4 cheaper plastic/polymer types.. In spite of being exposed to wet weather quite frequently so far the buckle shows no signs of corrosion.Installing the device can b a bit tedious but requires no cutting, sewing or removal of any existing D-RingsI have no hesitation at recommending this quick-release. Though there are cheaper plastic releases out there, this one is a very solid and smoothly working device well worth paying a bit moor for.

I love this quick release
Anytime I purchase a new helmet, it sits in the closet until I buy this quick release. I just purchased my 3rd quick release.I use my Dremel and cut off the D-Rings before I attach the quick release. You can buya cheaper quick releases but they don't look or feel near as nice.My only complaint is that they build up a corrosion quite easily. I put a little oil on it and it continues to work as well as always.

Buy it!!!
Buy it!!! I totally recommend it!!! Works as described, installation was easy if you follow the video instructions; I HATED having to tie that stupid strap, dude! I just want to get on my Vespa, go and have fun, again BUY IT!! You won’t regret it. I bought 3 because I have a helmet for each one of my scooter.

Great buy
Installed on a Shoei RF1000Strap is made out of a sturdy metal and is very fluid when it clips/unclips. The clip is very difficult to install, but inversely, the clip seems to be as difficult to take off (very secure). I question my IQ because I did not buy this sooner.I knocked off a star because where the female part of the clip connects to the helmet is very sharp and could have easily been shaved down and smoothed for an easier install and not slightly damage the nylon straps on the helmet. My recommendation for the install is to shave it down just enough so it's rounded and smooth and use a pair of small pliers. I also kept my D links on, but it would be easier if you remove the D links.Overall, I would recommend this.

Look no further, THIS is the one you need!!!
I've tried several quick release clips for my helmet. The ones that worked, often broke after a few weeks because the clips were made of plastic. That's not he case with this one. It is made of metal, and very solidly constructed. It's curved slightly so the fit is better than most and it looks as awesome as it works. It's the last quick clip you'll ever need for your helmet. I can not recommend this clip enough. THIS is the clip you've been looking for.

Really nice helmet strap quick release- recommended
Nice quick release, easy to install and use. It does tend to catch a bit on my glove material when latching and unlatching, but it isn't a huge deal. I don't notice any discomfort, and I didn't have to remove the D rings for install.

Would buy again, solid and precise
Very solid and precise fit. It's solid so slightly bulky. Small concern about pinching your neck when connecting but overall works great and don't know how you could improve on these small issues. Bought another and would buy again.

What is the replace plastic clips that I had on my helmet it kept breaking after a season 2 like that they made out of metal so far so good. Only complaint is how it hooks up to the other side of the helmet the slot sometimes as the strap comes out of the slot have to be aware of it
