However, Skechers once again came through for me! They are very comfortable, offer adequate support even as a teacher and mother on my feet all day, and they easily function for both casual and semi-dressy situations. I didn’t have to break them in at all, and the only issue I’ve had is after walking in rain and through puddles, the straps (especially the heel) became a bit stiff and then (oddly enough) a bit loose, but they were fine the next day after drying out. I sprayed them with microbe after being caught in the rain several days, and they are holding up, but it’s also nice to know that I can toss them into the washer if really necessary. I love these sandals!
