Review: Good durable 12/3 extension cable - I’m using this extension cord with a 15-Amp electric snow blower. The bright color makes it easy to see so I don’t accidentally run over it. No issues using this in wet and frigid winter weather. The cable is thick, but just flexible enough, and it’s very long at 100ft. Being thick and long, its not easy to deal with, but it’s definitely a good durable extension cable. Very good value for the money imo.

**Q: Can this be buried under ground**
A: Hi William,

Thank you for your question and your interest in Clear Power extension cords.

Unfortunately, extension cords are not made for direct burial use. Doing so would act like insulation, preventing the cord to "breathe" and for any heat buildup to dissipate into the air, which would in turn potentially cause a fire, short circuit or worse - damage to the circuit or to a person.

If you need to bury the cord for your particular application, we strongly recommend getting a licensed electrician to run a proper circuit with hard-wiring and protective conduit with an outlet on the other side for you to have power in that location.

**Q: Can i run a 120v welder thats on a 20 amp breaker thats pluged into a 15 amp outlet with this extension cord?**
A: No. Get yourself a 10/3 extension cord. While the amps you mention are within the welders specs, my personal experience is that stingers like this do not do well with a 12 gauge extension, even though the gauge in your wall is 12. The problem comes down to length of cord, as the longer the cord, the more resistance, which creates more heat to the point of popping the breaker.

Thanks for your question. Unfortunately there is no predicting what mice will chew through. If you are needing to keep this cord under the house permanently then you may want to look at a hard-wired solution that is protected by conduit.

A: well it is not flexible at all, I got this cord to replace my old cord which it is flexible in cold or very cold conditions, but I fail chosen this one

I’m using this extension cord with a 15-Amp electric snow blower. The bright color makes it easy to see so I don’t accidentally run over it. No issues using this in wet and frigid winter weather. The cable is thick, but just flexible enough, and it’s very long at 100ft. Being thick and long, its not easy to deal with, but it’s definitely a good durable extension cable. Very good value for the money imo.

Bought this extension cord to be able to charge my electric car outside. The car charges specifically say do not use extension cords because most extensions cords are not rated for the power draw of the charger. But if you get the correct cord, rated for a higher power draw than the charger, it works like a charm! The old extension cord was definitely not rated for 10A draw and was overheating and getting hot, not a good sign. This cord is sturdy and rated for 15A. No overheating. Feels sturdy and well built as well.
