Much less expensive than what I usually buy from aeromist. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Way better than my old water line. *by I***T on August 28, 2025* This is much, much thicker than my old sprinkler system tubing. It isn't as easy to poke a hole in, but it holds screw-in misting heads a lot more securely, so I can put some decent pressure behind the misting system, stop the feeble squirting and dripping and get a big cloud of fine mist, and be pretty certain of doing so without the misting heads turning into projectiles. This roll weighs at least double what the old stuff weighs, and a coil of the same length and inside diameter takes up at least twice as much space. Remarkable stuff. I have a hole-poking tool for doing rivets in metal, and that worked great for making screw holes to screw in.. . well, to screw in screw-ins, like my little brass misting valve/head things. It even comes with an end cap already installed. I think it's nice that they thought of that, since no matter how many times we cut it, split it off, and put branches out in every direction, this stuff eventually does have to end, and not having some wonky fold-over-and-hose-clamp at the end of the run feels and looks more "professional". I can't recommend this enough, especially over the old, cheap stuff that just isn't able to hold on to a screw-in like this does. It's also a lot prettier, which matters to me because I'm using it for a misting system. It has a nice jet-black glossy finish to it, which goes really nicely with the brass misting heads. Using good, pro-looking, rubber-lined hangers also helped keep the look "elevated" and classy, and, I don't how it works like this, but that really helps it sort of visually disappear. Non-offensive visually is equal to non-existent? Well, except for the benefit of it's function, which is extremely noticable by anyone who just arrived. ...then comfort and coolness settle in and the system components vanish from our visual awareness, and I'm not sure they would melt in quite so well if the tubing were scratchable and beat-up looking. That reminds me, the surface of this line is not scratchable, as such. Most of us know what that old black plastic sprinkler tube looks like when it's been kicked around a minute. It's more grayish white scratches than black and looks pretty rough. This is not that stuff. I'm trying to think of something super common to get the texture across. ...well, maybe a shiny black tube from a squirt gun reservoir to the outlet? It feels almost exactly like the clear tubing used for aquarium air pumps or fridge water lines, except I think this is thicker, and it's perfectly black. So, make those lines heavier duty, larger in inside diameter, maybe even more flexible and better quality, somehow, and then make it perfectly shiny, no-moon-at-midnight black. Love this stuff. I don't think I'll ever buy anything else for places the line can be seen, unless the overhead beam or lattice it's going onto is super-crisply white, but for anything down to light beige or light gray, black is better than white, and since mineral staining from the water that shows through clear is a possibility, and one I want to avoid, clear is out completely. This looks great, it's great quality, and it seems like it should last a very, very long time, especially if it is like that clear tubing, because I saw some of that tubing live through being in an abandoned aquarium behind someone's garage for over a decade getting flooded, dried, baked, and frozen, and it stayed pliable and was ugly from the staining it had gotten inside, but otherwise it was just fine. I used some for a retaining sleeve on something. Anyhow, I hope this is at least as good as that, but from the feel of it I think this is actually better. I'm going on and on, but I am so happy with this tubing, and happy for not having old unattractive tubing that's visible in that space, that I can't help myself. If it ever fails I'll try to get back here and say how long it lasted outdoors in the baking summers and snowy winters where we are. I'm guessing a lot of years, maybe even 15 or 20, if I don't damage it somehow, but that's just a guess. Stopping typing this now. I think I said what I meant to say well enough. Pleased. Very pleased.
