I had been trying to get a clear overview of the history of British royalty, as quite a few of them surprisingly turned up in my genealogical tree. This book is concise and interesting. The pictures and explanations clarified a lot of questions for me and eliminated the confusion that my research had created. It was exactly what I was looking for....simple and clear. Now I know where to go to delve into any specific areas I choose. This is a beautiful book to hold in your hands, with nice thick pages and interesting pictures. It was exactly what I was looking for.
