It's a pain to replace an iPod battery but that's not the fault of this battery manufacturer. The replacement battery was the correct size and has a very good life so far.

Well, I believe I followed all instructions correctly. Battery appeared to be installed fine. Seemed to charge but after a day or so, nada. No power.

Package contents appear to have been used, blue triangles show sign of wear, the Phillips style mini screwdriver is stripped. I’m not real surprised by the manufacture date, but the product as it is is not usable since I can’t unscrew the screws in the plate to be able to get to the battery to replace it.Not sure yet if the replacement battery works, so I’ll try to remember to update this review after I’ve picked up a new mini screwdriver that isn’t stripped and can continue on this little project.

Battery only lasts 30 minutes without even using it. Tools that came with it are the worst I've ever gotten with one. All tools used broke on disassembly. Also battery was manufactured in 2013 which is 2 years older than the original battery.

After letting it drain first, after installing, then let it fully charge now 100%

It was very easy to install and no problems on my own sode replacing the battery

Purchased Jan. 2021, biggest issue with this battery it was manufactured in 2012 as per date marked on product. It took a bit of skill to install, it's not for someone without soldering experience. Watch installation video to see how it is done. Somewhat difficult to get iPod apart, take care when disassembling. I was able to replace my battery and get things working. Being the battery is 9 yrs old, longevity remains to be seem.

Replaced 3 batteries, within a week of installing it has failed and will not charge up. Now outside return window. Ordered replacements from a different company, will see how those last.
