This unit is a Flatplate Copper Brazed Stainless Steel 14 Plate Heat Exchanger. The actual nominal size of this heat exchanger is 5.1 x 13.2 inches. Other technical issues such as higher design working pressures, higher and lower design working temperatures, external frost, freeze and corrosion resistance and broad Pressure Vessel Code approval are major advantages. 3. Lower Installed Cost - Installed costs of FlatPlate heat exchangers are up to 30% less than other types of comparable heat exchangers. 4. Hydronic Applications include: Heating Systems (floor and conventional heating systems, domestic hot water) Low pressure Hydraulic applications Low pressure to high pressure interface Applications include Fluid cooling with Chilled Water, Process Separation for Fluid and Glycols, High Pressure system isolation, Condenser Water, Oil Cooling, as well as Hydronic heating, Domestic Water Heating, and Close Approach applications. Totally sealed 316L stainless steel plates, copper brazed with a high performance heat transfer surface to promote low fouling.
