perfect for shaking up my weight routine
Barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells, body weight.... these things all work essentially the same way - they use gravity to provide resistance for muscle exercise and training. The SB SOX Resistance bands set (like all resistance bands) are capable of providing resistance in directions other than that which gravity dictates. Comes in handy when you are bored with the same positions in your weight lifting routine. This set came with everything I needed to start from zero with resistance bands. The 10-20-30-40-50 lb band setup allows for good incremental changes and covers what I want to do from the low end to the high end with no problem. The handles are functional and easy to attach to single or multiple bands. The additional straps and the door hanger haven't made it into my routine yet, so I can't give those parts a full review, though they do seem completely acceptable at a glance. If the price is right for you, don't hesitate to grab this resistance band set - it's well constructed and I've found no problems with it in the few weeks I've been trying it out.

A "MUST-HAVE" for at-home strength training!
Almost a year after purchasing, I finally opened my box and used the bands for the first time on International Women's Day. I regret that I waited so long to use this fantastic and affordable product. I've not had access to Nautilus equipment for the past 3 years and my muscular strength has continued to decline while my weight has rapidly and steadily increased during the pandemic. I used the bands to do 4 of the BIG FIVE exercises mentioned in Body by Science by Doug McGuff, M.D., and John Little. I used the bands to do a modified version of the seated row, chest press, pulldown, and overhead press. I was sweating within minutes as I reached muscular failure in less than 12 repetitions on each exercise. I had to use my exercise ball and 12 lb. free weights to do a modified leg press which is the 5th of the BIG FIVE exercises which targets all major muscle groups. The bands also come with a downloadable guide which shows multiple exercises for each muscle group and comes with a door anchor for the bands which gives even more options and exercises that can be done with the bands. The Mindvalley 10X program uses bands for their exercises which are based on the BIG FIVE in the aforementioned book. I'm typically a light sleeper but I must confess that I slept "hard" the past 2 nights as I was tired from my 15-minute workout. Two 15-minute workouts, twice a week is all that is recommended for rapid and optimal muscle growth. I used to use these techniques and exercises in the past when I had access to Nautilus equipment and I used to be freakishly strong...especially for a woman so I know the methods work. The bands are perhaps the best piece of fitness equipment one can own...especially if one is just starting to exercise and tone and certainly the most affordable. I highly, highly recommend these bands and love the downloadable instruction guide with pictures that comes with it.

Good alternative to the gym and worth every penny.
I bought these bands to use on the days I skip the gym or not able to access certain machines. They are good and durable and can really target your muscle groups if used properly. I've watched a few videos to help me with certain areas and I can see a difference. Until the videos, I didn't really know how to properly use them nor did I realize how effective they are. Until the videos, I didn't realize the different ways to use them. They were definitely worth the $$$$.

Not for a body builder, but good for a decent workout
Been using these for a few months and I feel like I can write a review now. Just for reference: I’m a relatively fit woman in her 20’s whose apartment building gym closed down because of COVID.Basically these are a great alternative to people who are not going to the gym right now or can’t afford a membership. They’re relatively versatile and definitely can take a beating. That being said, they really can’t give you everything that a gym can. While they’re great for an at home workout eventually things can get a little redundant. It’s not that they’re not versatile, it’s just that there really is only so much you can do. They have helped me get into shape though and definitely cheaper than a gym membership. My advice: if you’re an avid exercise buff, these are not the tool for you. If you’re someone who wants to donate a little bit a time to some strength training then I think these are the right way to go.

Perfect for working out! Not cheap!
My only issue, thumbs down is the door anchor!! This needs a HUGE warning for buyers! *** If you are going to buy this (Great resistance band workout product), **GET ANOTHER DOOR ANCHOR! DO NOT USE THIS ONE!!** This slapped me in the face from being anchored BEHIND A LOCKED DOOR, not once, but 2 times from 2 different doors. It can make its way through little openings on top & especiallyfrom the bottom of the door for sit-ups! I would have been 100% flippin angry if I didn't have another door anchor to use. This one is garbage and very unsafe. On a good note, I love working out with this product! Came in a sporty bag to hold all of the ropes, the manual, heavy steel carabiner clips. I like how easy it is to switch the bands around to add or subtract weight. Also, you can see in the pic that I have a Vigorfit. I honestly use less of it now bcs of the bands, but I can do multi- point weight lifting/ Cardio! Whatever you'd like to call it! It works! I roll the vigorfit in front of the bands *that don't move ha ha!!** And use the bench to do legs while I use the bands for my arms and crunches ! However you use this product, I guarantee it will work if you use it!
