I put mine in the freezer, they're great for headaches, sinus congestion/colds, eye strain, or just help with falling asleep. They say lavender promotes dreaming, can confirm. Have given these as gifts and people love them.

My old eye pillow finally bit the dust, leaking buckwheat hulls all over the place. I purchase this as a replacement and I was not disappointed. It’s soft and smells wonderfully of lavender – just enough to be relaxing, not overwhelming or suffocating. The material is very luxurious-feeling and I love the deep red color. I use it for yoga class and for sleeping and it’s perfect for both. It’s larger than my old eye pillow, so it took a little getting used to, since it covers more of my face. But it’s a good size for travel or even for use on a plane. The pillow stays cool on your face and the pressure on your eyes is very comfortable. My only complaint is that the material, which is satin, is a little stiff and does not mold very well to your face. My old pillow was silk and conformed to the contours of your face easily; this one tends to sit on your face instead of falling on your eyelids. But I suspect it will get softer with more use. I liked this pillow so much I bought two more in different colors for my family to use! And it comes with a free eye mask - a nice bonus.

fortunately i sleep on my back, so it falling off may not become a problem. they included a black mask with a head band so i am going to try to place that over the pillow and use the head strap to see if that makes a difference. the lavender smell is faint and will dissipate over time. they should make it with a zipper so you can refresh the lavender and change the flax seed. i may take it to my seamstress and see if she can do anything

Having some light pressure on my eyes is a relief for me when I have a migraine, and using this feels nice. I've been using it sometimes even when I don't have a headache. I would've shied away from trying this one due to the lavender scent advertised, but since other reviews mentioned it's a very faint scent, I went ahead, and I'll echo them: the smell is very subtle and unobtrusive.

My sister gets very bad migraines, bought the Happy Wrap Lavender in red as a Xmas gift to her. The quality/look feels rich. I hope it helps her, will update my comment once she uses it.
