Before this food, he was obese and needed to be on a diet because he was 16lbs! (Which is a lot for a little dog) I had to restrict his calories and I felt so bad feeding him dry food alone because I could only feed him about a 1/4 cup a DAY! Dr. Harvey's food has been a great alternative to the old dry food because I know he is getting the nutrients he needs, while being fuller and more satisfied. I also add edamame or some oats for fiber. My dog has lost the 2 lbs he needs and he has maintained the weight loss. His energy has come back and he has become playful and likes to run around again! And his coat looks great!
