Our kids travel between two homes and put their stuff away in cabinets after school vs leaving out on a dedicated desk overnight. It fits a couple of thick math books, several plastic flexible folders and wired notebooks. The side pockets are great for markers, crayons etc. Wish it came with a pencil pouch, but I can easily get one separately.
