For years I was using those thinner and hard to stretch circular ties. Very often I felt that I was damaging my hair when putting them on and taking them off. Not so with these. Their advertising is quite correct. They stretch a lot easier, are completely comfortable, don't squeeze or pinch my hair in any way and most importantly, they come off really easily when I take them off at night or whenever. It is just simply higher-quality and so much easier on my hair. I'm 63 years old and cannot afford to lose hair by damaging it by pulling on it. These quality hair ties are more than comfortable. Worth the extra couple of dollars. And none has ever broken on me. Sometimes I just tend to lose them or my cat hides them but they do not break.
