Review: Good Sturdy Padlock - These are good sturdy Yale padlocks that do they’re job well ! The three keys that you get with the lock are front door lock sized keys so opening & closing the padlock isn’t really fiddly. Give them a WD40 spray every now & then or oil them & they last & don’t rust, all metals like this need maintenance & in the quick video provided that lock has been on that gate for close to, if not two years & it’s as good as the day that I got it & that’s with the North West of England weather hitting it too! I feel that these padlocks are more than adequate, I have the older one that I’ve mentioned on the side gate & this recent purchase is on the shed instead of two of the much smaller versions of this one. A great product that I’d recommend for the likes of gates & sheds & bicycle chain locks, etc.

**Q: What's the diameter of the shackle please?**
A: Hi sorry for the delay. I am not entirely sure but it might be 20mm. I cannot find the original packaging.

**Q: High protection i.e. cen rating of 4. However, cen rating is stated as 2 i.e. standard / entry level. Which is it?**
A: I believe it's a 4

**Q: can you have extra keys cut**
A: I haven't needed to have extra keys cut but I don't see why it shouldn't be possible. There doesn't seem to be anything different about the keys that would mean a key cutter would be unable to cut copies.

**Q: Can the key be removed when the padlock is open?**
A: Yes the key can be removed when it’s open.
