This rug certainly proved to serve its purpose. It arrived quickly, as do all items purchased from Amazon. It was packaged and protected very well (as a side note, the box is very heavy, so keep some company around to help you carry it in). The colors are exactly what I expected; consequently, I got the rust/multi color. In fact, they were brighter and bolder than what is in the picture, which I appreciated.Yes, there were a couple, literally two, pieces of the burst that were coming out. This was no matter to me since it in no way affected the look of the rug. It happens with most pieces of carpet that are made with this type of material. Yes, it does shed the first couple of times you vacuum it. Again, not an issue for me since most types of materials shed with the first few cleanings (rugs, clothes, etc.). Speaking of vacuuming, this was my biggest concern since I have dogs. I didn't want to buy a rug that was going to fall apart after I vacuumed it. If you turn the spinners off, I believe this was a manufacturer suggestion, there will be no problems; it still cleans up nice.Overall, I really love this rug! It is a good price for a quality piece. It actually does hold up to heavy foot traffic. My dogs walk on it all the time. My son takes his cars and trains and runs them through it constantly. I have yet to have a problem.
