I don't really recommend it for tiny baby items. I just think that those tiny items look better made out of thinner yarns. This yarn is soft and thick. It is 20% wool and 80% acrylic. The yarn is not itchy at all. I mostly use it to make hooded cowls for toddlers and kids. I have had nothing but great reviews on the color, quality, and softness of this yarn.
