They are very small. I gave my large to my 4 year old grandson. They fit him. **Q: What are the ear loops made of?** A: The ear loops are made if elastic. **Q: Is the ear strap easy to break?** A: I wouldn’t think so. The elastic appears to be sturdy, and securely anchored. I wash my masks and hang out to dry and they are fine. **Q: Will a regular surgical face mask fit in filter pocket?** A: I bought size small. After washing, the opening is 2 1/2 inches long. This is 100% cotton and has zero give. Not sure the dimensions of your surgical face mask. On another note, I love the fact that I can adjust the tightness with by tightening or loosening the straps. Be careful and read the dimensions thoroughly. I think the masks run a little small. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Masks but they may be to large for some. *by M***R on September 6, 2020* I really like the masks for a couple of reasons. 1st, I like the material used. It has almost the same design of the handkerchiefs I use. I was looking for a material design like my Bandannas, 2nd the mask fit me well but are too large for my wife. For a reason that I do not know, the Levi's tag on the first order is on the printed side as I would expect. The second order has the Levi's tag on the plain side. I guess that is ok but I really expected the second order to be the same as the first. What is up with that ????? I would expect the tag to be on the nicer looking fabric not the plain fabric. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Awesome Masks *by N***M on August 12, 2020* I am loving these masks. I ordered the size large for my children because I read a review that said these masks run small. Nope. Large fits me- yeah for momma! :) I am a 5'5" lady with a small head and build. These would be great for teenagers. They are too big for my almost 12 year old daughter. They are thick, soft, and cute! High quality for a great deal. I got a pack of 3 for $12. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ First set of Levi's masks were great, the Second set of Levi's masks, not so great! *by L***O on March 12, 2021* My first Order of the Levi's masks were great so I reordered them again. My first set of masks were soft and form fitting to my face. My second Order of the Levi's masks were not the same as the first order I received. I then also noticed a distinct powdery smell on them and the material was not as soft and cheaper quality on the second set and the elastic ear bands were bigger and a bit larger causing not a good fit. When I looked inside on the tag, I noticed the first set of masks were made in Mexico and the second set (the cheaper quality set of masks I did not like) were made in China. The quality of the first set made in Mexico was much better than the second set made in China.
