How does she not taste the pill when chewing?** A: Cats are not known to thoroughly chew a food before swallowing. They may chew once or twice and then swallow. If the pill is properly placed in the pocket it should allow for the anticipated chewing that your cat would do and still be able to cover the pill. PILL POCKETS are also known for their strong enticing smell and taste which also helps to mask the pill. **Q: My cat has no teeth and I'm looking for a soft treat. Would she be able to eat these ?** A: These are soft, however they're meant to mask the taste of medication. Check with your vet if you want to just give them as treats. (My cats don't care for them in that way.) One note: for my cat, one whole pill pocket is too much to swallow whole with a pill inside, so I give him his pill in 1/2 a pocket. For a cat with no teeth, you may want to start with 1/2 a pill pocket treat, too. Also, some pet stores now carry feline wet food treats in tubes (that look like yogurt tubes). Some cats love that stuff, and it's perfect for kittens or other cats without teeth! Or try a bit of pate-style canned wet food, mixed with a little extra water to make it easier to eat. **Q: When will tuna flavor be back in stock?** A: It's soft...but I push a crunchy treat bit on to it to help it go down. I give her a cruncy treat, then the pillpocket/crunsh arttached, then another crunch to take her mind off it all.
