I'm autistic and texture-sensitive, and (for me at least) this rug feels like a hug after a long day. It's soft and surprisingly durable (Leila likes to try and dig into it, but after months of work has only managed to make a few nicks). I was so into this rug that I returned the $300 rug I bought from Home Depot for the living room and bought another one of these to replace it. I spend my days off lounging/napping on it. I hope someday Loartee will make a "runner" version.(Both times I bought this rug, there was a factory smell at first.
