The new remote works exactly like the original without any setup. Just put some batteries in it and job done. It worked all the special DVD controls on my TV that a One4All remote couldn't. The new remote works exactly like the original without any setup. Just put some batteries in it and job done. It worked all the special DVD controls on my TV that a One4All remote couldn't. Having an operating malfunction on my original Toshiba hand held controller for my TV / DVD combination - [ Model: 022DL704B ] - I searched for an alternative rather than just discard the TV. My suspicions on finding an alternative controller which would actually operate with the TV was high but I took a calculated gamble researching various websites and was pleased that Amazon had a detailed product description which matched my TV model. I was overjoyed that it worked perfectly. Long may it continue, fingers crossed.
