I probably did not read the description as well as I should’ve but it goes on with buttons in the front instead of a zip up. I think a zipper would be easier for a younger kid, but it’s not a dealbreaker. It has a zipper in the back for potty breaks which is nice. The tail and glider wings have been fun for the kiddo. The material is very soft and kind of spongy somehow. She is just barely 7 and petite for her age, but I ordered up a size to the 115 even though it says it’s for ages 8-10 because in my experience these Chinese imported clothing runs very small.
