Great backup plan for cleaning pet hair from upholstery
After reading reviews and checking trustworthiness of reviews, I wasn't expecting much. It's a good thing I got this pet brush though because the eureka mini vac turned out to be poor. This brush has a spinning brush that is vacuum powered. The suction of the vac causes air to rush past a paddle wheel that turns a belt, that spins the brush. The more powerful your vac, the more forcefully the brush will spin, meaning it won't stop turning as easily. For the dimmer bulbs out there: no this brush does not have an electric motor, it does not use batteries, and is not recommended for vacuuming pets (although thst does sound like a great idea), and you get one brush per order. Comes with adapter sleeve that fits most standard vacs, except shark of course since they deliberately make their vac hose nozzles an oddball size so you are stuck buying shark accessories. Not me; I fabricated a suitable adapter from plastic sink drain tubing.

Gets most of the hair - needs multiple passes to get all of the hair off furniture
My mom had this exact model when I was growing up and when I got my own house, I ordered one for myself! It does a great job of getting gobs of pet hair off your furniture and works wonders on carpeted stairs. However, it's not going to get your furniture 100% hair free after the first pass. Typically I can get about 97% of my furniture completely clean - it doesn't always pull out those really stubborn stuck hair fibers. I have two dogs, both pitbull mixes that shed constantly. Highly recommend.Note: If you have long human hair (I do) - you'll want to check the brush spool after each use to make sure the hair isn't impeding performance.

This thing is great. If you don't own this
This thing is great. If you don't own this, or something just like it, then you've never truly cleaned up your pet hair- and you'll def see the difference once you do a good vacuuming of your couches/seats/bed spreads. The downside... After a few months of using my first one, I could hear the spin revolutions slowing down. I'm a fixer/tool/handy type, so I got at my work bench, and slowly took this apart. There is a single "axle" that the brush spins on, and the internal side casing is plastic. Though there is a retaining washer, there is no grommet. So, the axle slowly begins to eat away at the plastic casing, and ultimately shifts its "cant", changes its "yaw", and begins to bind, and then slow way down.Point is, though this is a VERY EFFECTIVE product that I absolutely recommend, and use every few days, and happily so, that one design flaw gives it a shorter shelf-life, while the other components in the nozzle are just fine.So you'll end up with something that is only 5% broken, but 95% unusable.I just bought another one, and have committed the first for brushing up the worst of my car floor mats, until it naturally dies.SPECTACULAR for cleaning up pet hair.

Pretty "Doggoned Good"!
This is a great air-driven gadget for removing pet hair. It works very well, and is fairly sturdy. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because to keep it running at top speed, it MUST be regularly cleaned, and in order to do that, one must open and close it with a screw-driver. This is fairly easily done, but some other model nozzles actually have a removable collar that permits the device to be opened. I have used both makes of nozzles and in my experience, the HomeSource model has held up much better than the other one. So, even though cleaning the HomeSource nozzle is a bit of a chore, it is a good, effective tool.

Love it!
I have a Heeler (cattle dog) and a German Shepherd. Hair shedding in large quantities is a fact of life for me. I had be using the standard shop vac car attachments and they worked okay, but not great and took forever. Enter the little wonder vacuum. Attached to my little (5 gallon) shop vac and I think I had the entire back seat hair free in 10 mins! Definitely worth it and I recommend it to everyone that had a double coated dog!

Works well, but not sure of the long term durability.
I purchased this for my daughter who has 10 cats and 2 dogs. There is always pet hair everywhere. It's been 3 months now since the purchase. She loves the nozzle, it works well and saves lots of time cleaning pet hair from the furniture. However the hair collects and wraps around the impeller shaft which in time causes it to bind or lock up. In 3 months time I've had to take it apart several times to clean out hair that's become burnished to the impeller shaft and prevents it from turning. It's probably a matter of time before the plastic bearings wear out from this. So...it works great...until it doesn't...but so far taking it apart and cleaning hair out of the bearings has kept it going. In all fairness I suppose having 12 pets in a home is a pretty tough test.

Wowee zowee!
The Pet Power Paw may even be better than other five star reviews! It really really REALLY works well! Purchased with hope and scepticism - happily, it's the real deal. I am NOT taking stars away for: an incompatible adapter - doesn't claim to fit Filter Queen and you'll need a better interface; it makes a fairly loud, high whistling noise which the poor cat HATES - but is able to cope with or hide from and I can always wear Heros. It isn't a powered device, but the wind turbine effect makes it an awesome powerful little tool. It seems sturdy enough, but I wouldn't bash it about or lean heavily on it as it might break and you will frustrate it's mechanism. Use all gently and it should serve you well for a long time!

A solid performing affordable attachment
Our old Eureka Pet Paw attachment wore out. The Eureka model is listed at $38!!! This performs equally well for a much better price. It is built solid and feels as if it will last. We mostly use it for pet hair in odd places like carpeted stair steps, other carpeted pet play areas and the cat tree condo. It does an excellent job of digging in and getting those stubborn pet hairs out.I would highly recommend this for anyone that needs to replace their old unit or needs a good pet fur attachment. This will work on any vacuum cleaner as long as the hose size is right. Don't pay for brand name when this item will do the job and save you money!
