It has sleeves that slip on the posts that convert from 1 inch to 2 inch. The person that said it doesn't may have the sleeves already on and not realize it. They are held in place with a small allen key pin. You can do all 4 small hole, all 4 olympic 2 inch, or some combination **Q: One reviewer said rogue plates won't fit. Any reason why not?** A: I have Rogue training 2.0 plates and just ran out to the garage to check. The reviewer is correct. The plastic sleeves that go over the 1" metal posts are larger than the 2.00" standard olympic size and my nice Rogue plates do not fit on this rack. I have some old school iron plates, and those fit just fine.I think the Rogue plates have tight tolerances so they don't slop around when doing olympic lifts. The plastic sleeves on the Marcy rack are simply too big. Minus one star! To be honest, the metal posts under the sleeves don't look strong enough to hold a pair of 25K plates. It doesn't tip or bow. I usually have between 250 minimum to 450 lbs maximum worth of weights on it and it holds it all without issue.
