Not indicated in discreption.** A: The sun shade was not included in ours. We bought ours about 4 years ago and it has been worth every penny. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one. We use it all summer long and it is everyone's favorite. My boys are 7 and 9 now and they still love it. We pile 4 kids on and they have a ball. Worth every penny! **Q: Has anyone noticed how the tube doesn't slide out freely when you whip out in a hard turn? It seems to grab at the half way mark and turns back in** A: It's the design of it to avoid it from flipping. There are other tubes for that kind of activity. I can swing this one out quite well, but I don't want to flip my kids. We have a flat lay down one for the more evasive maneuvers. I LOVE this tube though. **Q: Does it submerg** A: We have never had ours submerge. It is a great safe tube for little kids. Out old tube used to nose dive and submerge and it scared the kids. This one does not. **Q: Which is better, Big Mable or Chariot Warbird 2. What is the practical difference, thanks.** A: I've owned both. The Big Mabel is fun but less performance oriented than the Warbird. The main difference is the Mabel is basically flat underneath with the back rest extending to the edges. The Warbird angles up slightly on either side like wings and the back rest is slightly inboard. The result is that the Warbird can go ridiculously fast back and forth across the wakes while being almost impossible to catch an edge and flip. The other side of that coin is that it tend to smooth out the ramp going over the wakes and is slightly harder to get as much pop and get as airborne as the Mabel. It still will catch air over the wakes but not as much. Secondly, it definitely pulls easier than the Mabel. The Mabel loaded with passengers can feel like a boat anchor out there. On less powerfull boats this might be a factor. It certainly results in more fuel burn. Our boat is quite over powered and designed to be a towboat. After a season in the Florida Sun and humidity, we ended up tearing the skin right off the Mabel while towing. The drag of the Mabel combined with the pull of the boat resulted in failure of the nylon cover. Never had any problems with the bladders. That was the second Big Mable we had and both met their demise in the same way, by having the nylon cover pulled apart. The Warrior looks to be built a little more durable. That combined with the more hydrodynamic bottom shape should equal much longer useful life. Both are fun. Mabel pops higher and makes for some pretty spectacular wipeouts, but is not that durable.
