**Q: Is it one steady light or can it blink?**
A: It's steady light.

**Q: I see a cord from the mother in the pic of it being used. Is that cord necessary? Will it run with just the batteries?**
A: Yes...it will run on just batteries, but it will slow as they wear down and I found the batteries did not last very long (12 hours or so). To replace the batteries, the whole thing has to be taken down if screwed into a ceiling or doorway since the entry of them is on the flat side of the device.

**Q: I bought this with my disco ball a few years back ans have lost the hook that attaches to the ceiling. Is there any way i could buy a replacement hook**
A: I use a simple teacup/j-hook.  I've also just used a zip-tie to hand it from something.

**Q: What is the output rating of the power supply?**
A: The output rating of the power is 1.35W.
