Yes, it is a very thin paper, that is a beauty of it, it responsive, it reacts to every slight pressure or touch and it produces the nuances of ink's vitality. You cannot run it through the press, it is the paper that records your breathing. There is no better paper I tried that can "hear" the breathing of the brush. Rough gestures can tear it, but if one practices on it, even strong brush strokes are possible, but you need to start from the air and end in the air. You do not dig into it. If there are challenges to pain on this paper, they are for mastering the connection of all four treasures: brush, ink stick, ink stone, paper.
