**Q: ought a desk fan which doesnt oscilate a d very noisy**
A: It doesn't turn around just up n down but yes is rather noisy

**Q: How does this mount to the wall? Does it hang, or is it a screw through the base to the wall?**
A: Two screws in to the wall and it slots on. Horizontally or vertical. Good cooling in summer but not quiet.

**Q: Could this be used if it's lying flat on its back/on a floor, pointing up? Does anyone know the exact decibel (dB) for each setting, or even any?**
A: Sorry but I have no idea if it can lie flat or its running noise levels as the first time I turned it on it fell to bits so it was returned and not re-ordered.

**Q: Is this battery powers or via cable and plug?**
A: It’s a plug in . Good fan.
