It came with a small cord to use with it, but the cord is cheap and did not feel or look too secure, it was about 1mm thick. If you are thinking on buying this its probably not for the cord but for the pendant so the cord does not matter. The pendant itself is exactly as pictured and has a nice solid feel to it. I would definitely recommend this pendant. It is just about the size of a US quarter. Well made and the markings are all well defined. Also for those of you that are wondering why there is a "w" instead of the Omega sign.
