I hate being needlessly wasteful, so this is perfect for storing your food without using plastic bags. I use them for mostly food storage of left overs in the fridge or freezer. They are really easy to clean, I run them through the dishwasher. I've had 2 for over a year now and had no issues with their seal or durability. Though the whiteish/clear one is slightly stained orange from storing carrots. I'm certain they'll eventually pay for themselves by replacing using plastic bags. It's a great buy no matter how you look at it.

**Q: how well do these bags store greens**
A: I've found food in general (greens included) last much longer in the Stasher bags than in plastic (or anything else I've tried).

**Q: Was there any fragrance added to these bags since people have commented on it?**
A: None of the Stasher bags I have came with any fragrance on them.

**Q: Why are they so expensive? Make them more reasonably priced.**
A: I got 3 of these, and so far its worth it

**Q: I need an eco friendly replacement for meat and veggies foil packets in oven. Will this work?**
A: The instructions say freezer, microwave, sous vide machine or oven. According to the website, "Stasher bags are safe for use in the microwave, with a sous vide machine, a standard oven, or a pot of boiling water — up to 400F." It also says, "There are no fillers or toxic products in Stasher bags — no BPA, BPS, lead, latex, or phthalates."  And not hypoallergenic--"Additionally, Stasher’s non-porous silicone surface helps inhibit bacterial growth, mold, and germs."
