I then had been getting chills and I wanted to be sure that they weren't accompanied by a fever so I took my temperature and it said 95.8 - that seemed really low so I did it again, 96.2. By then I was freaking out (I'm pregnant so that seemed really scary) until my husband came home and took his temperature, it was 96.4, phew. You usually take your temperature when you're worried about something and I would never use this thermometer in that type of situation because I wouldn't trust the results.Two stars instead of one because it is easy to use and I like the digital interface. ### ⭐ Inaccurate and Inconsistent *by D***4 on April 20, 2017* I already have two thermometers that have proven accurate (but slow) over the years and was looking for something with a quicker readout. This unit does read out quickly--the sooner to get your wildly inaccurate, inconsistent readings. In general, way too low (oral).
