These are as good as other brands I've used in the past. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good alternative to pasta, but... *by C***R on June 26, 2023* First off... when prepared correctly, shirataki noodles are great! But, you DO have to prepare them correctly. Just rinsing them like it says on the packaging isn't sufficient. They take on the consistency of snot when you try to add them to a stir fry or soup. The best method I've found is to drain, rinse in cold water, then boil them for about three minutes, drain, and cook in a dry pan on medium-high heat for 7 to 8 minutes before adding them to whatever dish you're making. This keeps them firm and a little chewy, more like traditional pasta. Also... if you've never eaten them, before, start with small portions. I made the mistake of eating an entire packet (2 servings) in one sitting as soon as I got them and ended up with a terrible stomachache a few hours later.
