Review: Does the job, and better then spending double or triple for a professional cage - I’m a tall guy and can’t squat inside the cage and with pull ups have to hold legs up or back, it’s sturdy enough even though the whole cage does wobble a bit. For £400 it’s a bit expensive but it’s needed and it does do the job for a good home workout, I will add that the pull up bar is very smooth and not much grip on there, if you leave outside it will rust pretty quick just FYI. Easy to assemble about an hour with 2 people. For bench my hands go wider then the width of the frame which is a little inconvenient but overall I’m happy with the product and it does exactly what I need it to so I would recommend. The top of the pull up bar is 83 3/4 inch off the floor. The sides are 78 3/4 inch. The working area is 42 inch wide between posts and 24 inch deep between posts. The posts have 19 one inch holes that start 13 1/8 inch OC off the floor and are 3 inch OC apart. Every third hole has a small U shaped notch to make it easier to identify the same level between posts. There are 2 solid steel safety pins 1 inch in diameter which are 32 1/4 inches long thereby providing the 24 inch length between posts and 3 1/4 inch bar catch on the outside of the rack.. The safety pins weigh 7.5 lbs each. There are 2 safety hooks that are 6 3/8 inches long including the 3 1/4 inch bar catch and weigh 1.0 lb each. Is there an issue doing low bar squats inside the rack (i.e. too little room inside rack?)** A: No issues doing squats or deadlifts inside the rack. But for cleans and military press probably work outside if your taller than 5'8. Inside height height only 6 feet 7 inches. **Q: What is the gauge of the 2x2 tube used to manufacture this power rack? Are the safety bars solid or hollow?** A: I measured the thickness of the posts. It is 0.086 inches thick which means it is 14 gauge steel. The safety bars are 1 inch solid steel. Feels really sturdy and strong. I'm 6ft3 tall and there's plenty of space left on the back, not sure how tall you'd have to be to be too tall for this bench. Easy to alter angle and fold away. The height of the folded product is a little high and only just fits under a bed. For the price really cannot go wrong.
