Our lawn meets with a raised patio on one side and steps along another so challenging to maintain the grass edge. We decided to fit these between the grass and patio & steps and fill with 20mm pea shingle. The result is excellent, largely due to these edges being quite sturdy and easy to fit, strong enough to maintain a straight line but still very easy to cut with a saw to shape as needed. So pleased we went with these rather than the other flimsy options.
