We have not used cooling pad at the time of this review, but the heat function is great and the sensation around the eyes and temples really is very soothing. I only have a few minor complaints about it but none are enough to really make me feel like the massager is not worth it. First, would be the "Music" section is limited to three "tracks" birds, crickets and running water. All calming but the ability to attach it to a device to listen to your own calming music or something like that would make it stellar. Second, would be the voice commands are very specific. For example if you want to turn off the heat, you need to say "no temperature" if you say "no heat" it does nothing or moves it to another heat setting.
