The only thing which really separates it from a traditional mattress is perhaps the edges are not very firm, meaning if you sit on the edge of the mattress it will compress almost fully, and also if you were to jump with your full weight on the mattress it will compress more than a typical mattress, but in reality neither of these should be issues in the real world. I've used traditional spring mattresses, memory foam, and now this, and this is probably my favorite so far, and when the price and convenience is factored in, it's a no brainer. The only thing I cannot comment on is longevity, but I will update this review down the road commenting on whether it lasted 6+ months. This is a very firm mattress, and contrary to what you may have read, it is ready to sleep on the very night you get it. Mine expanded to full height almost instantly.
