Really easy to fit, took no more than 30 minutes. It's great to be able to switch the gate between 4 and 8 way for different games (you do have to open the system up to do this). I've been tempted to keep one in 4-way and a separate one in 8-way, as I like to play a lot of old arcade games. These were a great upgrade for my 8bitdo arcade stick. They make the stick feel like a real arcade machine for a fraction of the price. Really easy to fit, took no more than 30 minutes. It's great to be able to switch the gate between 4 and 8 way for different games (you do have to open the system up to do this). I've been tempted to keep one in 4-way and a separate one in 8-way, as I like to play a lot of old arcade games. The click on the buttons is really satisfying and the accuracy of the stick is perfect.

It did come in a small box but the buttons had an protective sticker on them so they couldn’t get scratched. What I have notice between this and y older Sanwa joystick is the micro switches are soldered in and hard to change. With my old one it was easy to change the micro switch. The buttons Aldo have a micro switch on them that doesn’t look like it can be removed. If a microswitch goes on the joystick or a button it looks like the whole thing will have to be bought again.
