At 7-eleven, its a 99 cent refill. They upcharge refills above 54oz, so this container fits perfectly under that. 2) The spout opens up easily with a press of a button and the hole is just large enough to fit a 7-eleven straw through it with no issues. 3) With a 1/3rd of a thermos full of ice, it can keep your drink cold for 24 hours. There will still be some ice left inside! That's actually amazing when you consider that the container was left UNSEALED with the straw inserted the entire time! 4) Soda fact: cold soda lose their carbonation at a much slower rate compared to room temperature soda. This will keep the fizz going long after a Super Big Gulp cup has lost it. 5) Say goodbye to watered down soda. Always press the top part where the thumb grip is and it will glide inself in. 4) This container is not designed for carbonated drinks, so sealing the container with the spout close is highly unadvisable (so i've read). The air pressure may damage the seals. Since it is unsealed, you will lose some carbonation throughout the day. 5) Does NOT fit in car cup holders! You can use a seatbelt instead, but it can still topple over sideways so I always hang on to mine whenever I make a turn with the car. However, this container would fit great in a child seat! 6) The handle is very flexible feeling which makes it feel like it could possibly break at some point like in some other reviews on this product. Is that true?** A: To the best of my understanding the liner is stainless steel with a non-stick coating called Polyfon made by Daikin. The coating is supposedly safe and contains no BPA's, unlike Teflon. It is probably applied to prevent the build-up of mineral deposits or stains over time. My thermos is now 3 years old and is as good as the day I bought it. If it cost twice as much as it does it would still be a bargain, in my opinion. I own the 20 ounce one and I was so impressed by it that I bought this large version. - it has a steel plated upper cover that may also function and is shaped like a cup. It is the outer cover that closes the vacuum bottle. - there is a smaller white cup or bowl that rests just beneath the black and steel cover which is immensely helpful if more than one person is using the vacuum bottle! - it has a middle opening and closing lid that is very well made. It is black with an inner blue color and a gray gasket. This cover can be opened on its own completely to pour or empty liquid contents into the vacuum bottle. It also has a spout that is opened using a red button that can be used to pour the hot or cold contents of the bottle to the accompanying white plastic cup or the black and steel cup with a handle. The spout is closed using the light gray knob at the end of the black and blue lid. This is an excellent invention as one does not need to open and close the entire lid to pour out contents! - it has a blue adjustable handle that opens up slightly for easy holding and handling and closes and rests flush against the steel bottle when not in use. A good thermos usually doesn't go beyond 5 hours before the liquids get colder and colder. Also, there is nothing to break if it falls (if a thermos falls the flask breaks) as the whole container is steel. - on hot days, this bottle shines! If you put ice cubes in there, they last a whole 24 hours or more.
