We tied it up outside the day before the party and it held up fine overnight despite a little rain and wind. It looked cute. We had to use tape in some spots to hold the letters in place. The letters do move around a bit relative to each other, changing the spacing, if you don't tape or secure them somehow. This one was not as easy to get the straw in or blow up as easily as the previous one I purchased. They also did not hold the air well.
