Cute tops
This book is great! I attempted a couple of the shirts and they turned out perfect. The projects are short and look great once completed. Perfect for the unskilled seamstress with a few more difficult shirts to make if you are looking for a "challenge". I haven't really tried the more difficult projects yet, as I seem to be lacking T-shirts. One of the shirts required interfacing but the rest just use T-shirts.I am looking forward to trying a few more of the Sistahs Of Harlem's projects. Overall great purchase.

Great concepts
This is a great book, especially for beginning sewers; however some of the ideas repeat themselves. I found myself disapointed that there weren't more styles as most of the ideas in this book are previewed on the front cover, but they were well explained. Also, some of the leftover pieces for ribbons didn't always turn out the right shape at the end when making sure to accomodate for the other parts, but I found this pretty minor.

Three Stars
The authors had several interesting T styles. However, other books provide directions for many more T-shirt styles.

Like new
The book arrived in great condition. As for the content, I love the edginess. I Purchased this book years ago and was intimidated by the designs. Misplaced it and reordered again. Now, more than ever, I’m ready to tackle the process and further use as inspiration.

Short on really useful results
Book is full of halters and designs that most women won't wear. Teens will not be able to wear them to school. A lot of unfinished edges at necklines. Results look very ad hoc - like something you tossed off, and will wear once then throw away. It does offer permission to cut things up and recombine, but I was hoping for better results.

Stunning
I love this book. I've bought quite a few of these tshirt makeover jobs, and been a little let down. But this - this beats them all. There are a bunch of ts I can see myself putting together. And they're different - not like some of the other books out there which give you 50 variations on the same theme. They range from bare to covered up, and each design is graded as to difficulty. There are photos of the Ts being worn by models, and great diagrams of how to do the work. There's even a secion at the beginning where the Sistahs go into body types, colour and so on. Very well done book. Really glad I bought it.
